We Believe

 

  • Divinity of Scripture: The Bible is the divinely inspired and inerrant word of God.

  • The full deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ: Jesus is fully God and fully man.(John 1:1-8,8:58 Heb.2:14-17 )

  • The Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Exod.3:14; Isa. 43:10-11; Matt. 28:19)

  • The Fall of Man: God created man in his own image, (Gen. 1:26-27) but man's transgressions brought sin and death upon all men. (Rom. 5:12)

  • Salvation from Sin: Men and women are separated from God, and in need of salvation from sin. (Rom. 3:23)

  • Redemption of Man: The death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ brought salvation to man through God. John 11:25-26; Romans 3:25 

  • Repentance and Salvation: If you repent and receive Christ as Savior by faith you will be saved. (Rom. 3:21; 5:6-11, Eph.2:8)

  • Salvation by grace: Ephesians 2:4-10; Titus 2:11-14

  • The Body of Christ: Every regenerated believer is a member of the Church, the body of Christ which is inhabited by God through the Holy Spirit. (Eph.2:22)

  • The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit: Once a believer is born again, the Holy Spirit comes to indwell on the inside of them. Romans 8:16; Acts 1:4

  • Communion of Saints: The assembling together of saints though the local church. (Hebrews 10:25; Ephesians 4:13; Acts 2:42)

  • The Great Commission: Going and making disciples of every nation- this mandate includes worldwide evangelism, building up of saints in faith and corporate worship of God. (Matt.28:18-20; 1 Cor. 12:13,28, Eph. 4:11-16).

  • The Rapture of the Church: Christ’s second coming  involves the rapture of the Church, (1 Thes. 4:16,17) and the actual visible return of Christ with his saints to reign with Him on earth. (Zech. 14:5; Matt. 24:30,31; Rev. 1,7,19;11-14;20:1-6)
